After years of working and volunteering in India and Nepal. Ekno Experience’s Director Sharon, knows all about all about the importance of creating a great match. When the organization and traveler are seeking the same level of skill and commitment it makes for a great experience all round. With our intimate knowledge of the volunteering projects on offer, and the culture of local Tibetan and Indian organizations we can help you find just what you’re looking for.

We can organise your accommodation or a home stay
Few volunteering projects in this part of the world come with accommodation. It’s usually up to the volunteer to sort this out themselves. Ekno Experience can take care of these arrangements for you so you get the most out of your time here. From your own apartment to a comfortable guest house or family home you’ll be looked after.

And fun
We can also organise courses, social evenings and short trips to compliment your volunteering experience. We’ll introduce you to locals, teach you some of the local language and make sure you get beyond being a tourist and feel at home.

And if things don’t go as planned…
Should you change your mind about your commitment, fall ill or just decide that this isn’t for you, our coordinator will be there to assist and guide you.
