Volunteer Tour Dharamsala India

5 March to 20 March 2012

This tour has been designed for mature volunteers who are young at heart and ready for their next adventure! Volunteers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a developing country, experience another culture and contribute to the development of education in the local communities (both Tibetan and Indian) in Dharamsala India. The tour is a short but intense experience with the additional benefits of comfortable westernized accommodation, as well as a village and cultural tour. You will be assigned a conversation partner who you will get to know well. There will be guest speakers who will give you some insight to their experiences running and working in NGO’s in India.

This tour will offer an intimate experience, so you will be able to get know your peers and con as well. Taking part in this volunteer program will also give participants the opportunity to fundraise a small donation which will contribute financially to one of the projects the group will be working with in India.
