Kathmandu Short Stay

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer from Tribhuvan International Airport to the International Guest House, Thamel Kathmandu. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and explore the local surrounds.
Overnight Kathmandu

Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing. Visit Pashupatinath Temple, the center of Hindu cremation and sadhus. Follow the tour to Bodhnath Stupa, Swayambhunath and Kopan Monastery. Visit the ancient Durbar Square and enjoy the rest of the afternoon for your own shopping and leisure.

Day 3: Bhaktapu and Thimi cultural program. Take a morning drive to Bhaktapur on a cultural tour that will visit an ancient Newari town, the royal palace, Golden Gate, the magnificent five storied temple, peacock window and the 55 wooden windows. Drive to the village of Thimi and visit this beautiful old Newari town and enjoy lunch with a local family. This will be followed by a cultural program at the local school. Drive back to Kathmandu late afternoon.

Day 4: Patan sightseeing. Travel by private car to the nearby town of Patan. Here you will visit Durbar Square and the surrounding temples and markets. The rest of the day is free for your own leisure.

Day 5: Depart Dharamsala. Tour arrangements end at your hotel.
