Travel India & Nepal

Why Travel with Ekno Experience?

Because we’re locals. Ekno Experience Director, Sharon Thrupp has lived in India and Nepal for the last ten years and introduced countless Australians to the wonders of this region, including the unique landscapes of the Himalayas.
But we still call Australia home. Ekno Experience is an Australian business, operating under Australian laws and standards.
We look after you. Our tours are accompanied by Buddhist teachers and nuns to provide you with authentic spiritual insight into the culture you are experiencing. Whenever possible we schedule our tours to include teachings from revered Buddhist teachers including His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Traveling with us is an opportunity to awaken your own nature, to deepen and affirm your understanding.
We won’t compromise your comfort either. Daily meditation and yoga, delicious meals, comfortable accommodation and travel options.
All our tours support Dharma partners. We’ve chosen a range of partner organizations that reflect our values and share our motivation to inspire and promote compassionate action. From the beaches of Australia to the mountains of Tibet we hope that your journey with us will engage you long after you’ve arrived home.
Discover the difference - travel that’s good for you, good for others.

Our Mission: To inspire compassionate action, through travel experiences that engage and motivate.
